The Evolution of Light

Jeffry Bulson

Jeffry Bulson - Director of Plasma Development

Jeffry Bulson leads the process development efforts for Microplasma lighting products for Eden Park Illumination. He coordinates all development activities including the transition of manufacturing technology to the pilot line, and participates in the development cycle of new products. Mr. Bulson joined EPI in March 2009.

With over 23 years experience in experimental physics and electrical engineering, Jeffry Bulson's background includes a decade spent with the Panasonic Plasma Display Laboratory in New York. Here he led the vacuum and thin films process development group which led to the development of several innovative techniques for the measurement of thin films. Previous to Panasonic, Mr. Bulson held R&D positions in other laboratories including Materials Research Corp. where he developed thin film sputtering cathodes for tools used in the manufacture of microelectronics, Liebert Corp. where he established and managed their R&D laboratory, and Mission Research Corp. where he performed research in the area of electromagnetic effects testing. He has over 30 journal and conference contributions and four patents and is a Senior Member of IEEE. Mr. Bulson received a B.S. in physics at SienaCollege and an M.S. in experimental plasma physics from the University of Iowa.
