Jeffrey Putney - Design and Sustainability Manager
As Design Engineer, Jeffrey Putney has responsibilities in the area of microplasma technology development for the next generation of light source and solutions. He also serves as Sustainability Manager, charged with overseeing the Company’s environmental programs and processes.
Prior to joining the Company Mr. Putney worked as a staff scientist in the Laboratory for Optical Physics and Engineering at the University of Illinois. From 2004 to 2007 his main research focused on ultrafast lasers and their applications. During this time he was also involved in several projects focused on developing and understanding new types of microcavity discharge devices. Jeffrey Putney received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and the B.S. degree in computer engineering from the University of Florida.
